Generals : The Project

Quintas del Bosque is a fascinating Project of mountain cabins, where peace and recreation blend together in a privileged habitat formed by an exuberant forest. The project is located at 5 kilometers from the town of Jarabacoa, on the way to Manabao. Available lots within the project are between 650 and 1,000 meters above the sea level.

The annual media temperature is 22 Celsius, minimum temperature 12 and maximum 30; along with a relaxing and romantic panoramic daytime and night view, it guaranties total relaxation.

One of our principal values is the combination of spectacular mountain views, the town of Jarabacoa, and the imposing presence of El Mogote, an area declared as a natural reserve.

Quintas del Bosque extends for 300,000 square meters, divided in 80 lots of about 3,500 m2 each. Lots are classified in A, B and C based on view and altitude.

The project encloses 5 different forests. Each with its own access way, signposted and named in regard of the tree species that are found in the area:

I - Caribea Forest

This forest encloses lots of bigger dimensions, less rugged topography, and wider view. Among the 21 lots within Caribea forest are the common areas of the project: the administrative offices, the children's playground and the park in the Woods.

II - Grevilea Forest

This area destined for the future development of 22 new lots, has a beautiful view of the mountains and the urban area and valley of Jarabacoa. This area is located between the 700m and 800m of altitude.

III - Cipres Forest

Located in the central area of Quintas del Bosque this forest encloses 18 units and splendid panoramic view of El Mogote natural reserve and Yaque del Norte River. This area is located between the 800m and 900m of altitude.

VI - Araucaria Forest

This area is composed of 9 units, initially destined to founder proprietors of Quintas del Bosque. With impressive panoramic views it has an average altitude of 900m.

V - Occidentalis Forest

Occidentalis Forest is the highest area of Quintas del Bosque, with 6 units. After been acquire from nearby land, this land became the first expansion of the project, with a height of 950m.
